MICHAEL MEYER​Michael Meyer brings decades of business experience in many professional capacities over a wide array of businesses to his role as a legal professional in the areas of estate, business succession, philanthropic and faith-based planning. Mike’s specialties include charitable gifting and financial stewardship as they relate to life insurance, estate planning, business development and succession and financial leverage.

Prior to the formation of the Haven Law Organization, Mr. Meyer created and managed several multi-million dollar entities in information technology, digital communications, media, and entertainment. He began his diverse career as the director of business affairs, dramatic televisions series development and a personal manager with the Bernstein-Thompson Entertainment Complex.

As his negotiating skills developed, he moved on to create both Meyer-Stuart (management of production and the performing arts as well as serving as executive in charge of production for many films) and Rigrod-Meyer (a law firm focused exclusively on entertainment law for writers, producers, directors, stars, production companies and distributors), before moving into production as a writer, producer and director for a variety of independent films.

In 1995, Mr. Meyer started one of the first Internet broadcast companies, which moved through several stages of technical and media innovation. Mike took the entity public as a digital technology company and later helped it evolve into a full-service entertainment company. Mr. Meyer is also a technology and financial editor for the Century City News, as well as a Lecturer at the EMI Bible University, where he is completing his Doctoral dissertation.

Mr. Meyer is well qualified to help his clients. He earned a JD from USC, master’s degree in divinity and ministry from Harvest Bible University and bachelor’s degree with honors in History and Russian from Amherst College. Prior to entering financial services, he worked for many years in the entertainment industry, as an entertainment attorney, personal manager, film distributor, and writer/director/producer. He then turned to the public sector, taking Internet start-ups and media distribution companies public. Today, he draws upon his decades of business success to help others secure their financial futures.

As a result of his professionalism, Mr. Meyer has received numerous industry honors. His honors have included membership not only in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), considered the standard of excellence in the financial services industry, but in MDRT’s Top of the Table and Court of the Table, which are reserved for its elite members, but also Developing Sales Force Producer of the Year. Mr. Meyer is dedicated to helping people create more satisfying financial futures.
